Using the Dashboard

The Dashboard is the starting point for all editor, author and administrator interactions with Scriblio. This page will outline some of the Dashboard functions and where to find them. This is what the Dashboard’s basic tab bar looks like to someone with Author privileges.

Clicking on each tab of the Dashboard will reveal a menu underneath, as in this example.

You may see slightly different menus depending on what your role is within Scriblio. This page will look at the Dashboard as it is seen from an Administrator perspective. Editors and Authors will have fewer options. You may see slightly different options depending on what plugins you have installed.

Here is a list of nested menus available from the Dashboard with brief descriptions of their functions. For more in-depth explanations, see the WordPress help file about the Dashboard. Any time you change something on one of these pages, you must also use the Update Options button or the Save button to make sure the changes you have made are applied.
