ALA Presentation Roundup
I’m no good at live-blogging events (Lichen is, just look at what she did at the non-profit technology conference), but between the two of us we did do four presentations (two were virtual), they’re online, and, well, we’re proud of them:
- Lichen presented Web2.SO?: Why it matters to libraries, as part of the Social Software Showcase
- Transforming Your Library With Technology, part of the Transformation Track
- Faceted Searching and Browsing in Scriblio, at the LITA/ALCTS CCS Authority Control in the Online Environment Interest Group presentation of “Authority Control Meets Faceted Browse.”
- Finally, my contribution to the Social Software Showcase was a rallying cry for the work we need to do to build our libraries of the future.
